How to add keys for latest Nissan Rogue via OBD?
Here is taking Autel IM608 to program a 2020 Nissan Rogue as example.
Connect IM608 with car OBD2 port.
Having been identified car model, go to
Control unit >> Immo/ smart system >> Immobilizer remote control learning >> Key learning
Perform this function will delete all the smart keys, it can program up to 4 smart keys!
Press “Yes” to continue.
Close all the doors and click the START button.
IM608 will read the vehicle’s BCM code automatically.
Press “Yes” to continue.
Turn off the ignition and turn on the emergency flasher.
Open and close the door once.
Press START button once, keep the logo side of a new smart key cling to car START button, then the dashboard is illuminated and the indicator light flashed 5 times.
Note: if the indicator light doesn’t go out, please use a working key to press the START button.
Switch ignition off.
Program success.
Press “Yes” to go on next one.
Only to repeat same operations for the original key.
Press “No” when programming completed.
Press the START button within 5s to put the key mark of the first programmed smart key close to START button. The buzzer rings continuously, turn off ignition.
One more time for the other key.
Registration is completed.
Check if the remote control is operating properly.
Start the engine and wait for 5s.
Both can work well.
