Autel MaxiTPMS TS508 is an easy TPMS programming tool which supports TPMS relearn, sensor activation, erase, DTCs, key fob testing… etc. This post explains Autel TS508 stationary TPMS relearn procedure in details, based on 2014 Ford F-150 for an example.
The LR TPMS sensor is damaged, and needs to be replaced.
Procedure:
Program Sensor >> Auto Create 1-16 Sensors >> Y >> OK
Properly install the new Autel MX-Sensor, then inflate the tire to the placard value.
Stationary Relearn
Advanced Mode >> Ford >> F-150 >> 01/2011-12/2014(Select the corresponding options according to the vehicle identification plate)
Position Relearn >> Stationary Relearn >> OK
Following the prompts:
>> Press brake pedal then release.
>> Turn the ignition key from OFF to ON for 3 times and stop at ON position.
>> Press brake pedal then release again.
>> Turn the ignition key to the OFF position, turn the ignition key from OFF to ON for 3 times and stop at ON position.
Finished!
Use the TPMS relearn tool to activate sensors
Put AutelTS508 tool near one tire to activate tire pressure sensor. Scan it until the screen says “Yes” after a beep >> Repeat for the other 3 tires, press Y to be completed.
Connect the AutelTS508 tool to vehicle OBD connector, turn ignition on >> Wait for a moment >> Successful!
Erase DTCs
Press Y to erase >> Wait for communicating >> OK, cleared!
